This Spanish food mini hamper was an idea of mine quite sometime ago now, and has proven to be one of the most popular gifts on our site!
Its a fairly simple but very tasty kit containing a lovely recipe plus the essential ingredients and equipment to recreate this classic Spanish dish - It even includes a bottle of Manzanilla sherry to enjoy chilled whilst cooking.

The extremely tasty Sherry is from a company founded in 1822, it is light, tangy and refreshing. Its proven as an excellent aperitif and a sublime match for seafood; at only 15%! You can drink this just like wine - pour yourself a large glass, they do in Sanlúcar!
The Paella rice is a white paella rice in a cotton sack - this product is d.o.calasparra certified, guaranteeing it's origin and quality.
The other contents are - Pure Saffron filaments 0.5g - Which is the most expensive of all spices, Pimenton De La Vera Agridulce Paprika 75g - This paprika comes from extremadura and it's quality warrants the pimento de la vera d.o (denominacion de origen); it is a style of paprika known as agridulce (bitter/sweet), coarsely ground and smoked over oak to give a very distinctive flavour, A Beechwood Spatula and of course, not forgetting the 2 person Paella Pan.
Did you know that Paella takes it name from both this, the pan in which it is cooked, and the spanish region on the shores of the mediterranean where it originated? Now you do!
