We've branched out into Garden Gifts...
Having recently ‘branched out’ into Gardener’s Gifts, we’ve started stocking some wonderful items from Burgon & Ball. So, we're delighted to hear last week that the ‘Burgon & Ball 5 A Day Garden’ had been awarded a Gold Medal at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
The garden was designed to show how it is possible to grow your “5 a day” all year round in just 10sqm of planting space.
With money tight and so much focus on sustainability, it’s hardly surprising that more and more people are deciding to ‘grow their own’. It makes you feel good on a number of levels – not only do you get out in the fresh air and (hopefully) sunshine, but there’s something incredibly satisfying about nurturing your veg garden and then enjoying the fantastically fresh produce that you’ve grown. Most importantly, they usually taste better and cost less than buying from the supermarket as well.
It doesn’t matter whether you have access to an allotment, vegetable patch or even just a window box or tub, why not get out there this weekend and give it a try?
